CHM Sing-along Fundraiser – When Melody Was King, the Golden Age of American Pop Music, Feb. 9

The Coos History Museum celebrates love songs for Valentine’s Day, the songs that were sung when melody was king. This music lives again on Friday, February 9, when the Museum hosts its first sing-along. The event begins at 2 p.m. Please join in. Music from the 1920s to the 1960s, the golden age of American popular music, will feature tunes like – Always, As Time Goes By, Falling in Love With You and Dream Lover. Live piano accompaniment will be provided, plus lyrics for the songs projected to a large screen. Admission donation to this February 9 love song fundraiser for the Museum is $10 for non-members, $8 for members. Pre-registration is suggested. Invite your friends, family, or loved ones to partake in the joy of singing, or just listening, as you welcome an early Valentine’s Day.
