Denton (26). Woman arrested and motorcycle recovered after Sheriff’s Deputies investigate Bandon area theft. On February 15th at 11:30 p.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motorcycle that had just been stolen from a residence near the intersection of Hwy 101 and Beach Loop Lane south of Bandon. Sgt. A. Slater and Deputy S. Starr responded and began an investigation. As a result, Deputies responded to an apartment complex at the corner of Grand Ave and SE 11th Street in Bandon. At that location, Deputies recovered the stolen motorcycle and found Lanie N. Denton (26) hiding in the apartment directly involved in the theft. Lanie N. Denton had several warrants for her arrest, which were confirmed. Lanie was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail where she remains in custody. Other occupants of the residence, a man and two women, are expected to be charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle related to the recovered motorcycle.
