The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board will replace a water main on 5th Avenue in the Eastside area of Coos Bay from “D” Street to “E” Street. Construction work will begin the week of August 17th, with completion anticipated by September 1st, 2014. Water Board crews will work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. 5th Avenue will be closed to through traffic during construction. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when practical. Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained during construction.
