In addition, we cannot help you perform major updates. ¡Spanglish¡ Conversational Program, Saturday, May 18 in the Stacks, 10:30am – 11:30am, ¡Vamos a hablar! This program is for those who wish to practice their Spanish conversational skills and help other learners in a friendly setting. Attendees will have the opportunity to converse in Spanish as a group for one hour in a casual, informal environment. This is NOT a class but we will provide ideas for conversational topics. Beginners are welcome! Craft Takeout, Kits Available Saturday, May 18 at the Circulation Desk. Calling all crafty teens and adults! Have an appetite to get creative? Pick up a free monthly Craft Takeout kit in the library on the 3rd Saturday of each month. How-to instructions and everything needed to create the monthly project will be included in each Craft Takeout kit. Limit one Craft Takeout kit per person. Kits are available for pickup in the library while supplies last. A limited number of kits are available and are first come, first serve. New! Hiking Book Club, Saturday, May 18 at John Topits Park, 12:00pm – 2:00pm. This Hiking Book Club series will focus on reading books about people of color and the impact of nature. Each month we will be meeting at a different park to walk and talk about the month’s book. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and appropriate attire! Copies of the book will be available while supplies last. Join us at John Topits Park this month to discuss the book The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature by J.
