Motorcycle crash leads to drivers’ arrest for DUII and Reckless Driving, eight minors cited for MIP alcohol over the Labor Day weekend. The Southern Oregon Coast DUII Task Force deployed additional police officers from Coos Bay PD, Coquille PD, and the Coos County Sheriff’s Office over the Labor Day weekend. As a result I motorcycle operator was arrested for DUII and reckless driving after he crashed his motorcycle Sunday evening 08/31/14. Aditionally, in Coos County eight minors who has consumed alcohol were contacted and issued citations for MIP alcohol over the weekend. Extra enforcement during the holiday was made possible in part by funding from Oregon Impact. Drivers year round are reminded to “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”
