On Saturday October 4, 2014 Coos Art Museum will host its Fall Fling for the Arts catered by Little Italy Restaurant. The event begins at 5 pm and will include an art sale, silent auction for goods and services, and a no-host bar. Restaurateur Maximo will be providing a scrumptious meal for your enjoyment. The entre items include: Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and Garlic, Eggplant Parmigiana. The dinner will also include; Little Italy Salad or Greek Salad; Mixed greens, sliced apples, dried cranberries, walnuts, and crumbled blue cheese in raspberry vinaigrette; and Cheesecake, served by the slice. Dinner will be highlighted by “A Speakeasy Mystery” set in the Roaring 20s which participants will be encouraged to solve through clues provided by a variety of actors in character. Artworks including original paintings by many of the finest artists of the South Oregon Coast will be on sale. A wide variety of other quality goods and services donated by generous local businesses and individuals will also be available for your silent auction bid. Proceeds from Fall Fling for the Arts go to support Museum operations.
