Exceeding Daily Limit
Two Cottage Grove men were cited for Lend or Borrow Angling Harvest Card – Misdemeanor following a complaint by a citizen Sept. 25, 11:03 a.m. According to an Oregon State Police report, cited were 60-year old Philip Edward Harben, and 61-year old Eric P. Jager.
Kia Impound
A white Kia SPT was impounded Sept. 25, 2:04 p.m., following a traffic stop on Hwy. 101, northbound, mp 213. According to an OSP report, 53-year old James Michael Galloway, Willits, was found to be driving uninsured.
Chrysler Impound
A gray Chrysler TOW was impounded Sept. 26, 11:27 a.m., following traffic stop on Hwy. 101, mp 210. According to an OSP report, 32-year old Shawn Michael Carlezon, Gardiner, was found to be driving while suspended and uninsured.
Honda Impound
A blue Honda Civic was impounded Sept. 26, 3:16 p.m., following a traffic stop on Hwy. 101, mp 213. According to an OSP report, 48-year old Rhonda Gail Brown, Scottsburg, “was originally stopped for vehicle registration violation. She claimed to have current insurance and provided a document with valid dates. Due to her history of driving uninsured I phoned her insurance agent and left a message requesting confirmation of coverage. After citing the operator for the registration violation I concluded my contact. Before I left the parking lot I received a call back from the insurance company who informed me that the policy had cancelled for non-payment in July, I recontacted the operator and she confessed to lying about insurance. Vehicle impounded.”
DUII – Alcohol
A 32-year old Coos Bay male was released to a sober, licensed adult, Sept. 27, following a traffic stop for excessive speed at 12:37 a.m., at Hwy. 101 and Myrtle in Coos Bay. According to an OSP report, 32-year old Jimy Gerardo Villa Flores, Coos Bay, was operating a silver/aluminum Dodge Durango. “He was exhibiting signs of impairment and an odor of alcoholic beverages was emanating from the vehicle.” He submitted to and failed a Field Sobriety Test. Transported to CBPD for breath samples. Cited and released for DUII and Speeding.
Kia Impounded
A maroon Kia was impounded following a traffic stop on the Cape Arago Hwy., mp 2, Sept. 27, 6:10 a.m. According to an OSP report, 27-year old Daniel Terry Martinez, Coos Bay, was “stopped for speed violation, found to be driving while suspended and uninsured.”
Kia Impounded
A blue Kia SPC was impounded Sept. 27, 10:46 a.m., following a traffic stop at Southwest Blvd. and Washington Ave., in Coos Bay. According to an OSP report, 26-year old Brett Wayne Christoferson, North Bend, was found to be driving uninsured.
Chevrolet Impounded
A blue Chevrolet pickup truck was impounded Sept. 27, 11:22 a.m., Libby Lane & Shinglehouse Road, Coos Bay, following a traffic stop. According to an OSP report, 38-year old Andy Ross Sharp, Coos Bay, “was found to be driving without Oregon driver license and uninsured.”
Chevrolet Impounded
A silver/aluminum Chevrolet Impala was impounded Sept. 27, 12:39 p.m., following a traffic stop at Sherman Ave. and O’Connell St. in North Bend. According to an OSP report, 29-year old Terry Jerome Smith, North Bend, was “found to be driving while suspended and uninsured.”
Exceeding the Limit
A 50-year old Veneta male was found to have exceeded his daily limit and annual limit on Wild Coho Salmon after being contacted by an ODFW employee while returning from a fishing trip on the Lower Umpqua River, Sept. 27, 5:01 p.m. According to an OSP report, “a request to issue a citation has been forwarded to the OSP – Springfield Patrol office,” for Tracy Joe Stoppel.
Ford Impounded
A white Ford FRE was impounded Sept. 29, 7:45 a.m., at Hwy. 101 and California Ave. in North Bend following a traffic stop. According to an OSP report, 33-year old Kimberly Jean Wenbourne, Coos Bay, was “found to be driving while suspended and uninsured.”
Chevrolet Impounded
A white Chevrolet CAV was impounded Sept. 29, 8:30 a.m., following a traffic stop for speeding at Southwest Blvd. and Pennsylvania in Coos Bay. According to an OSP report, 38-year old Heather Dawn Donham, Coos Bay, was “found to be driving uninsured.”
GMC Impounded
A tan GMC SON was impounded Sept. 29, 4:06 p.m., following a traffic stop for equipment violation on Hwy. 42, mp 12. According to an OSP report, 31-year old Isaac Jacob Linville, Coos Bay, was “found to be driving uninsured.”
PCS Meth
A 26-year old female was taken into custody Sept. 29, 6:06 p.m., after an Oregon State Police trooper “observed a wanted female walking in North Bend. According to an OSP report, Pony Ck. Rd. and Vermont Ave., Heather Simone Dewalt was charged with PCS Meth and Referred to DA for Consideration.
Lincoln Impounded
A blue Lincoln was impounded Sept. 30, 11:29 a.m., following a traffic stop for no front plate violation in North Bend. According to an OSP report, 28-year old Krystin Elaine Koslow, North Bend, was driving while suspended.
Oldsmobile Impounded
A white Oldsmobile Cutlass was impounded Sept. 30, 11:36 a.m., following a traffic stop on Hwy. 42, mp 21. According to an OSP report, 60-year old Sherri Lee Fox, Powers, was cited for No Oregon Driver License.
GMC Impounded
A white GMC Jimmy was impounded Sept. 30, 2:13 p.m., on Hwy. 42, mp 23. According to an OSP report, 31-year old Darci Lee Clauson, Powers, was “found to be driving with No Operator License and Uninsured.”
Vehicle Impounded/Driver Arrested
A green Chrysler van was impounded Sept. 30, 2:49 p.m., following a traffic stop on East Bay Road and Kentuck Way Ln., North Bend, for “multiple fail to maintain lane violations.” According to an OSP report, An investigation revealed that the driver, 43-year old Anthony William Standfill, North Bend, “was criminally suspended and without identification. The operator was arrested for fail to carry or present driver license and driving while suspended misdemeanor.”
