Counterfeit bills
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Oct. 6, 1:03 a.m., 1988 Virginia Ave., Seven-Eleven, “business alarm. Officers responded, advised actually report of counterfeit bills. Officer seized 2 bills. Under investigation.”

Seagull dispatched
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Oct. 6, 12:18 p.m., 2191 Marion St., “VA Clinic called 911 for patient who stated a vehicle hit and injured a seagull. Officer responded/witness advised seagull hit power line and there was a small explosion. Bird severely injured/was dispatched.”

Strong smell of Marijuana
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Oct. 6, 1:22 p.m., 2600 block Sherman Ave., “RP reports a strong smell of marijuana coming from neighbors residence.” Thirty-three year old Christoper Maine Westgaard, North Bend, taken into custody on Oregon State Parole Board Warrant charging Parole Violation, plus additional charge of Escape III. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Officers advised no odor or marijuana from residence when they were at location.”

Roadway dispute
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Oct. 6, 3:26 p.m., Tremont Ave./City Limits. “two 911 reports of male/female dispute in middle of the street on Tremont in front of the chip pile.” Officers responded/verbal dispute, 45-year old Patrick Bresnehan, Myrtle Point, cited for No Operator’s License and warned for No Insurance. “Vehicle secured on the scene.” At 5:46 p.m., 2700 block Stanton St., “Several 911 reports of domestic occurring at location. Female screaming call police.” Forty-five year old Patrick Bresnehan taken into custody on charges of Assault IV Domestic Felony and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
