Friends of the North Bend Library Book Sale, Oct. 10

You’ll find tables packed with a great selection of bargain books, videos, and more at the Friends of the North Bend Public Library’s used book sale on Saturday, October 11, from 11 am to 4 pm. The sale is open in the large meeting room to the general public from 11 am until 4 pm. Paid members of the Friends of the North Bend Public Library will be admitted to the Pre-Sale at 10 am. Friends membership applications are available at the library, and you can also become a member at the door on the day of the book sale. The Library can always use more Friends! Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Children’s Summer Reading Program, annual Title Wave author events, and special programs at the library. The Friends also contribute to the children’s and adult collections of books, books on CD and DVDs. If you can’t make it to the sale on October 11, come any time the library is open to find good reads and more on the “Neverending Sale” shelves just inside the library entrance. If you like shopping online, you can benefit the library by looking for special and unique donated titles at our Amazon store at this mini-link: http://ow.ly/oP35r. Want to fuel the Friends’ sales? Gently used donations are always accepted. Just bring your items to the library during open hours and leave them on the counter next to the “Donations” sign. Feel free to ask library staff for a receipt for tax purposes. The library is located at 1800 Sherman Avenue, North Bend. For more information, call the library at 756-0400.
