Cape Mendocino Quake, Oct. 28

A 2.8 earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Monday morning, Oct. 27, where two fault lines enter the Pacific Ocean and turn north to run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 3:39 a.m., and was located 64-miles west to southwest of Eureka, CA.
