A 2.7-magnitude earthquake occurred near Cape Mendocino in Northern California where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 6:50 a.m., and was located 25-miles south of Eureka, CA. The Lakeview area in South Central Oregon continues to be active. A 3.5-magnitude quake shook the area Monday night, 8:32 p.m.
