Central Coast Robbery at Gun Point, Nov. 25

News Release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. November 23, 2014 at 2:30 AM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery that just occurred in the area of Gleneden Beach Loop and Highway 101, Gleneden Beach. Deputies immediately responded and made contact with four occupants of a vehicle at the side of the road who reported they were recently robbed at gun point. The victims informed deputies they were going southbound on Highway 101, south of Lincoln City, when another vehicle signaled at them with flashing headlights. The driver of the victim vehicle turned onto Gleneden Beach Loop and pulled over to the shoulder. At this time the suspect vehicle stopped as well and blocked them in. Three males then exited the suspect vehicle and confronted the reporting party with handguns. The victims complied with the requests of the suspects to hand over an undisclosed amount of valuables. The suspects then left northbound on Gleneden Beach Loop in a dark colored car having either two or four doors. The suspects were described as three Caucasian men, middle aged with medium builds. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in this case.
