Sophomore guard Sydney Wiese scored 19 points, but the No. 10/12 Oregon State women’s basketball team suffered its first loss of the season 74-63 to No. 8/10 Tennessee Sunday afternoon in front of a crowd of 11,123 in Knoxville, Tenn. The Beavers (10-1) were in the game from start to finish, in a contest that featured 10 ties and seven lead changes. Oregon State led by two with 13 minutes to play, and trailed Tennessee (10-2) by just five with less than two minutes remaining. The Beavers open Pac-12 play Saturday, when they head to Southern California to take on UCLA.
