Quakes at both Ends, Jan. 8

Earthquakes shook both ends of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.5-magnitude quake occurred near Cape Mendocino in Northern California at 2:02 a.m., 35-miles southwest of Eureka, CA. A 4.8-magnitude quake was also recorded Wednesday, Jan. 7, 6:02 p.m., and was located 11-miles east of Tofino, Canada.
