Cracking Camas Valley Burglaries, Feb. 24

The arrest of a 34-year old male from Camas Valley led to the recovery of some property stolen during residential burglaries in the Camas Valley area of Douglas County since last summer. Thirty-four year old Eric Banks was arrested by an Oregon State Police trooper following a traffic accident in Coos County. He was found to be in possession of some of the stolen property. A search warrant executed at his residence led to move stolen property. He was transported to the Douglas County Jail at Roseburg. On Feb. 9, a Douglas Co. Sheriff’s deputy stopped a 1986 Chevrolet Corvette in the Roseburg area. It was one of the vehicles stolen during one of the burglaries. Twenty-two year old Joshua Crossley and 29-year old Minette Spence, both of Roseburg, were taken into custody. The investigation is continuing.
