Disorderly Conduct
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 02-19-15 at about 2228 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Confederated Tribal Police responded to 90738 Hollywood Lane, Coos Bay to a report of an out of control female at the location. As the result of the investigation, Chaira C. Fall age 22 of Coos Bay was arrested for Interfering with a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct II. Chaira Fall was transported to the Coos County Jail where she was booked and lodged on the above mentioned charges. Chaira Fall is being held in lieu of $15,000.00 bail.

Assault
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 02-20-15 at about 0200 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputies, Oregon State Police and North Bend Police responded to the area of 180 North 8th St. in Lakeside to a report of a domestic assault involving a firearm. The victim the assault had fled the residence and gone to the Lakeside Fire Hall where she set off the fire alarm. Lakeside Fire personnel took the initial report from the victim and checked her injuries. Officers contacted 31 year old Isabel Bautista-Hernandez of Lakeside who reported that her husband, 55 year old Gabino Taia-Gomez had gotten drunk and assaulted her and threatened harm to her and their 3 children, ages, 14, 6 and 4 who were still at their residence. Ms. Bautista-Hernandez reported that her husband was armed and struck her with the gun and threatened to kill all of them. Deputies, OSP and North Bend Officers set up a perimeter around the residence at 180 North 8th Street, Apt#1, and at about 0307 hours the suspect came out of the residence where he was placed under arrest without incident. Mr. Tapia-Gomez was arrested on charges of Assault IV (Domestic Felony), Menacing (Domestic), Unlawful use of a Weapon, Reckless Endangering and Pointing a Firearm at Another. Gabino Tapia-Gomez was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked and lodged on the above mentioned charges. Gabino Tapia-Gomez is being held in lieu of $80,000.00 Bail.

Arson
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On February 22, 2015, at about 9:00 AM, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 63301 Boat Basin Road Coos Bay, Seaport RV Park, for a report of a female who had lit one of the dumpster there on fire. Upon arrival the fire was extinguished by a resident of the RV Park. Sheriff’s Deputies spoke with several witnesses that identified the suspect as Jennifer Stenton, 40 years old of Coos Bay. Deputies located Stenton and placed her into custody for Arson in the First Degree and transported her to the Coos County Jail, where she was booked and lodged.
