Chef Folck, Chef DoVale and four Baking and Pastry students from Oregon Coast Culinary Institute will travel to Ashland for the 11th Annual Chocolate Festival held at the Ashland Springs Hotel, March 6 – 8, 2015. At the festival the students and chefs will host a booth representing OCCI and the Baking and Pastry program. The students are busy building a show piece they will enter into the chocolate competition during the festival, and they will be kicking off the festival by building a show piece in the lobby of the hotel. Both the students and the chefs are excited for the opportunity to attend the chocolate festival, show off their chocolatier skills and possibly win a scholarship from their efforts.
