Oregon (13-3) was unable to generate much offense and lost its first home game of the season, 4-1, against San Francisco on Tuesday night at PK Park in Eugene. How It Happened: San Francisco (4-12) got on the board early when former Duck Connor Hofmann singled to lead off the game and scored on a base hit after stealing second. The Dons added one in the fourth with a solo home run and tacked on two in the eighth with a two-RBI double off of reliever Stephen Nogosek. Due to predictions of rain on Wednesday, first pitch has been moved to 3 p.m. at PK Park. Jacob Corn (1-0, 2.08) will take the mound for the Ducks against Sam Granoff (0-1, 1.80).
