Expect delays as traffic is detoured around this section of highway. Update 10:38 a.m., ODOT: SW Oregon: U.S. 101 (Oregon Coast Highway) remains closed three miles south of Lakeside at the request of Oregon State Police. Traffic is experiencing minimal delays using the detour on Wildwood Road. Update 12:49 p.m., ODOT: SW Oregon: U.S. 101 remains closed three miles south of Lakeside at the request of Oregon State Police. Expect minimal delays as traffic continues to use a detour on Wildwood Road. ODOT expects to reopen U.S. 101 to all traffic by mid-afternoon. Update 2:18 p.m., ODOT: SW Oregon: U.S. 101 reopened three miles south of Lakeside after a four-hour closure, during which time traffic was detoured around the incident. There were minimal delays and no detour-related crashes reported.
