Suspicious Death Investigation, March 24

News release from CBPD. On Sunday, March 22, 2015, just a little after 5:00 PM officers were called to a Coos Bay residence for the report of an adult male who was not breathing. A subsequent investigation revealed the male died in his home under what appeared to be suspicious circumstances. The deceased male was identified as 43 year old Christopher Koester of Coos Bay. Family members have been notified of his death. At this time, several leads are being looked into by Coos Bay Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit. Additional information will be released as it is determined through the investigation.
