The Coos County Board of Commissioners will be accepting applications for positions on the Coos County Library Board. Position #1 must live in the incorporated area of Coos Bay, and the successful candidate will be filling the remainder of a term set to expire June 30, 2016. Applicants for Position #5 must be a small cities (Bandon, Coquille, Lakeside, Myrtle Point, Powers) or Dora resident, and this candidate will also be filling the remainder of a term, set to expire June 30, 2017. Applications can also be emailed to nfowler@cclsd.org or turned in at any county library. Applications are available on the county’s website at www.co.coos.or.us and click on “county boards and committees”, at any Coos County public library, or by contacting the Board’s office. Deadline for submitting an application is Friday, May 29th at 5:00 PM.
