Jail Flushing on Central Coast, June 1

News release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. The Lincoln County Jail began the third phase of equipping the housing units with a flush control system. This is a four part project that is expected to be completed next year. The flush control system being installed will limit the number of times a toilet can be flushed in a one hour period. It will also give the deputies the ability to control the water flow to any single cell. Doing this will prevent inmates from being able to flood their cells or the housing unit. It will help in the prevention of items being flushed down the system. When the project is complete, the flush control system will decrease the overall amount of water used by the Lincoln County Jail.
