On November 3, at approximately 9:27 am Douglas County Communications received a report from the 100 block of Hobbs Lane in Glendale, Oregon that 51 year Mathew Wilkinson had accidentally shot himself. Deputies and EMS personnel responded to the scene. Wilkinson had apparently accidentally shot himself in the leg as he was attempting to break up two dogs fighting at the residence. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center. A 65-year old male accidentally shot himself with his rifle on Monday, Nov. 2, in Oakland.
