The Coos County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for positions on the Coos-Curry Housing Authority Board; there are two positions to be filled. If you are interested in helping to provide affordable housing, and you are excited to become an active member of the board, now is the time to apply! The Housing Authority Board meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 4 p.m., and meetings alternate between North Bend and Gold Beach. Terms on the board are 4 years. Interested parties must send a completed county application to: Coos County Board of Commissioners, 250 N. Baxter, Coquille, OR 97423; or, applications can be emailed to bbrooks@co.coos.or.us Applications are available on the county’s website at www.co.coos.or.us and cleck on “county boards and committees”, or by contacting the Board’s office. Deadline for submitting an application is Friday, December 4th at 5:00 PM.
