On November 20, 2015 at 10PM, an OSP Trooper stopped a 2003 Honda Pilot for traveling 73 miles per hour in a posted 60 mile per hour speed zone on Interstate 5 near milepost 195 (Eugene). During the contact the Trooper observed signs of criminal activity and with the assistance of a Springfield PD drug detection canine, a hidden compartment was located inside the vehicle. Approximately 24.4 pounds of crystal methamphetamine was seized. The driver, Teri L BAKER, age 55, of Kent, Washington was arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail for Unlawful Possession and Delivery of Methamphetamine.
