On December 4, 2015, at about 6:30 AM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 154 (west of Boardman). Upon arrival on scene, emergency crews found a 1985 Chevrolet Pickup fully engulfed in fire. After the fire was extinguished, Keith O CARNEY, age 34, of Philomath, was found deceased inside. Preliminary information indicates the Chevrolet was traveling eastbound on I-84 when it left the roadway for unknown reasons and traveled for over 400 feet. The Chevrolet struck a large boulder where it caught fire.
