Lured by true tales of weight lost and health regained, they begin to uncover the hidden sides of animal agriculture that make them wonder whether solutions offered in films like Food, Inc. go far enough. This laugh-out-loud funny, inspiring documentary showcases the rapid and at times comedic evolution of three people who share one journey and discover their own paths in creating a kinder, cleaner, greener world, one bite at a time. Monday, January 25th – THAT SUGAR FILM: One man’s journey to discover the bitter truth about sugar. Damon Gameau embarks on a unique experiment to document the effects of a high sugar diet on a healthy body, consuming only foods that are commonly perceived as ‘healthy’.
