Greenacres Burglars Arrested, Jan. 12

News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On January 10, 2016 the Coos County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported burglary in progress in the Greenacres area of Coos County. The reporting party said a man and woman were burglarizing a home there. The reporting party’s husband, home owner 65 year old Greg Barker was holding the female at gunpoint awaiting law enforcement. Deputies were responding from Millington after clearing from another reported burglary in progress at a business. While responding the deputies were notified the woman had fled the residence initially on foot then got in a pickup that was now leaving the area. The home owner was also following the pickup. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies found the white Chevy pickup fleeing down Timber Lane and onto Upper Loop Road in Green Acres, closely pursued by the victim. The deputies stopped the vehicle and detained Raymond Louis Eby, 28 yoa of Coos Bay and Autumn Rain McEnroe, 25 yoa of Coos Bay for investigation. It was learned McEnroe had entered the Barker’s home with the intent to steal property from another woman that was staying there. The other woman had previously stolen from Autumn. Raymond Eby had assisted Autumn McEnroe by providing a getaway vehicle. Through investigation it was learned both were in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Raymond Eby was also on parole for Eluding Police. Raymond Eby and Autumn McEnroe were taken into custody for burglary and drug charges. They were transported to the Coos County Jail. McEnroe was charged with Burglary in the First Degree, Attempted Theft in the First Degree, Theft in the Second Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. She is being held on $140,000 bail. Eby was arrested for aiding and abetting Burglary in the First Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. He is being held on $125,000 bail. In addition he was charged with Parole Violation which does not have bail.
