No Insurance
According to a report from the Oregon State Police, a traffic stop of a vehicle Jan. 26, led to an impoundment. “The vehicle had a blank temporary permit in the rear window. After some vague debate, the driver admitted there was no insurance on the vehicle.” Forty-one year old William Joseph Godin was cited for Driving Uninsured and Failure to Register the Vehicle. He was warned for Failure to Carry and Present a Driver’s License. The vehicle was impounded.

Crash
According to a report from OSP. A single vehicle accident occurred on Hwy. 101, milepost 224.8, Jan. 27, 4:01 p.m. “The operator of vehicle one was traveling north on Highway 101 when he entered the opposing lane in an attempt to pass several vehicles. During his attempt to pass the operator encountered a southbound vehicle and swerved back into the north bound lane. The operator stated he exited the roadway onto the north bound shoulder, struck the dirt embankment and rolled over into the north bound lane.” Fifty-eight year old Farroll Alfred Speake was transported to Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay for treatment. “The operator was late issued citations for Careless Driving, Unsafe Passing on the Left and a warning for Fail to Drive Right.”
