Biggie on the North End, March 21

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake shook the northern end of two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Friday, March 18, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake was recorded at 3:46 p.m. and was located 127-miles west of Port Hardy, Canada. A 3.4-magnitude quake occurred Sunday, March 20 off the Central Oregon Coast. According to the Survey, the 11:15 a.m. quake was located 229-miles west to northwest of Coos Bay.
