Oregon State Police Report, Feb. 7

Habitual Offender
A red Ford Explorer stopped for “several traffic violations” on Libby Lane near Nathan Drive southwest of Coos Bay Feb. 4, 2:29 p.m., led to the arrest of the driver.  According to an Oregon State Police report, 54-year old Terry Lucky Price, Albany, was found to have his Oregon Driver’s license status “Misdemeanor Revoked / Habitual Offender.”  He was also found in possession of a concealed pocket knife, and less than an ounce of marijuana was found in the vehicle after a narcotic’s K-9 sniffed and alerted his handler to the presence of a controlled substance.  A Parole Officer placed a felony detainer on Price and he was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  He was also referred to the Curry Co. District Attorney’s Office for Violation of his Conditional Release Agreement.  The vehicle was impounded.

Multiple Felonies
A 32-year old male was arrested Feb. 5, 10:49 a.m., at his residence on Lorain Ave. in Coos Bay for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.  According to an OSP report, Chad Allen Kraft was also charged with Identity Theft and Forgery I & II.  He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  Kraft was also wanted on a Parole Violation out of his home state of Michigan; however, they declined to extradite him on the warrant.
