It’s happened before. A loaded chip truck experiences a shifting load while rounding a turn on Hwy. 101 south of Yachats and crashes. This time it was Monday, July 11, and like before, no one was seriously injured, unless you count the guardrail on the north side of the coastal highway. The highway had to be shut down for several hours as the wreckage was cleared near Nelson Wayside. No detours were available for coastal traffic.
