On July 22, 2016, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received information that 22 year old Sylas Fain, of Roseburg, was having a sexual relationship with a 16 year old female juvenile during the Spring of 2016. The incidents occurred in the Green District of Roseburg. On July 28, 2016, Sheriff’s Detectives met and spoke with Fain. Afterwards, Fain was arrested and lodged at the Douglas County Jail. He was charged with 2 counts of Second Degree Sexual Abuse and 2 counts of Contributing to the Sexual Delinquency of a Minor.
