A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck the junction where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Thursday, Sept. 8. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was recorded at 8:40:50 UTC and was located 1km north of Rio Dell near Cape Mendocino, CA.
