Southwestern Oregon’s volleyball team beat visiting Lane CC 3-1 Friday night in NWAC play at Coos Bay. On Saturday, the Lakers lost at home to Linn-Benton CC 3-1. SWOCC (2-4, 12-13) plays at Umpqua CC north of Roseburg Wednesday, Oct. 12, 6:30 p.m. The women’s soccer team fell 3-2 to visiting Clark College Saturday. The men’s team also lost to Clark, but by a 4-0 score. The Lakers men (0-9-0, 0-12-1) next host Portland CC on Wednesday. The women’s team (3-5-0, 4-8-0) plays at Chemeketa CC in Salem Wednesday.
