On February 19, 2014, at about 2:40 AM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies on patrol noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Governor Patterson State Park in Waldport. The deputies stopped the vehicle and contacted the occupants, a 16 year old female from Toledo and an adult male from Waldport. An investigation revealed the juvenile was in possession of methamphetamine, a Class C Felony. The male cooperated and no illegal substances were found in his possession. He was released at the scene. Due to juvenile’s age, she was provided a transport home and her parent notified of the event. This matter will be referred to the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office and the Juvenile Department for further action and review.
