News release Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office.  On October 31, 2016, at about 1339 hours, Deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 101 near Shinglehouse Road. The stop was for an un-signaled lane change, but it was also reported to the Sheriff’s Office there may be stolen property in the vehicle.  Deputies were able to get consent to search the vehicle from the driver. In the vehicle, deputies located electronic scales, various firearms ammunition, methamphetamine pipes and (2) stolen handguns.  Deputies arrested the front seat passenger, Andrew Gray for Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Once he was arrested, Gray told deputies he had drugs in his pants. Deputies located two small Ziploc baggies of suspected methamphetamine from Gray pants. Leon Luck and Nicole Crabtree, were both sitting in the back passenger seats. Both of them are on supervised parole and they were both arrested for parole violations. All three subjects were transported to the Coos County Jail. Deputies were assisted by Coos Bay Police at the scene.
