East Coast New Year’s Party at the Liberty Theatre, Dec. 21

The Liberty Theatre is pleased to announce an East Coast New Year’s Party scheduled for December 31 from 6-9pm to help finance the restoration of the beautiful Liberty Theatre. Ring in the New Year from 6-9 PM at the Liberty theatre, home of Little Theatre on the Bay. Champagne toast at 9 PM as the clock strikes midnight in New York City. Door Prize drawing of two “vintage seats” from the theatre. There will also be a silent auction of many varied items including a Janome quilting sewing machine, Philips Micro Music System, HP printer for tablets/phones and Ipod nano. Free appetizers with beer and wine available for purchase. Dance to the live band Gran Torino! Tickets are $25 each, available ahead of time at the following places: www.thelibertytheatre.org, the box office on Wednesdays from 10-1 PM, at our new Liberty gift shop during shows, and at Ciccarelli’s Coffee Shop. This is a fundraiser for Phase III of the Liberty restoration project: lobby and concessions areas. Since 1959, the LTOB has operated and managed North Bend’s historic Liberty Theatre as a performing arts venue serving residents and visitors to Coos County. The restoration project is designed to ensure North Bend’s 92 year-old Liberty Theatre’s role as the architectural and cultural hub of the community is preserved and protected in time for the centennial celebration of the building’s opening scheduled for spring 2024.
