The Coos County Sheriff’s Office will be joining other Law Enforcement agencies in Coos County over this Christmas Holidays looking for impaired drivers and enforcing traffic laws on our local roadways. Through the use of federal grant funds that pay for overtime for patrol deputies, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office will be assigning extra patrol deputies to patrol the roadways in Coos County focusing on impaired drivers. The Sheriff’s Office is asking all who will be traveling the roads in Coos County and around our state to be extra cautious this holiday season and if you have imbibed, please do not drive.
