Front Street Temporary Road Closure, Jan. 27

News release City of Coos Bay.  Front Street will be closed between Date Avenue and Cedar Avenue from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm, January 27, 2017. Purpose of the road closure is to allow Rotarians from Eugene and Coos County Rotary Clubs along with Belloni Boys Ranch students, Shutter Creek inmates and local volunteers to load a shipping container bound for Nigeria.  Contents to be shipped include: surplus medical electronics, hospital linens and sheets, and hospital beds and exam tables which will be used to raise the level of medical services for thousands of people in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation.
