Oregon and Oregon State’s men won both of their Pac-12 basketball games in LA over the weekend. The Ducks beat UCLA on Thursday in two overtimes, 87-83. On Saturday, Oregon handed USC a 78-63 loss. The Ducks (20-8, Pac-12 8-8) host Arizona State Tuesday night in Eugene and end the regular season at home Saturday to Arizona. Oregon State beat USC on Thursday, 76-66, and UCLA on Sunday, 74-69. The Beavers (16-12, Pac-12 8-8) host Arizona Wednesday and Arizona State on Saturday.

Oregon’s women snapped a five-game losing streak this past weekend and swept the Arizona schools at home in Pac-12 basketball. The Ducks beat Arizona State on Friday, 98-90, and then downed Arizona 90-78 Sunday to end the regular season. Oregon (15-15, Pac-12 6-12) plays Washington State in the Pac-12 Tournament at Key Arena in Seattle, WA, Thursday night, 6 p.m. The Ducks (8-3) have a two-game home series with Seattle Tuesday and Wednesday. Oregon State swept the “Desert Schools” as well. The Beavers beat Arizona, 78-48, Thursday night in Corvallis and then Sunday, OSU downed Arizona State 66-43. Oregon State (21-9, Pac-12 13-5) will next play in the Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinals on Friday, March 7, at Key Arena, in Seattle, WA.

Fifth ranked Cal State Fullerton handed Oregon’s its first baseball losses of the 2014 collegiate season this past weekend with a three-game sweep in Eugene. Cal State Fullerton won on Friday, 9-2, Saturday, 3-2, and Sunday, 5-4. Oregon State won three out-of-four from visiting Wright State in Corvallis. The Beavers won Friday, 7-0, on Saturday, OSU prevailed 6-4, but Wright State took the second game of the doubleheader 6-2. On Sunday, the Beavers won 13-2. Oregon State (9-3) hosts Portland on Tuesday.

Oregon won four-out-of-five softball games at the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic in Orlando, Florida this past weekend. The fourth-ranked Ducks beat Auburn in the opener Friday, 3-0, but lost to No. 1 ranked Florida 2-1 (8). On Saturday, Oregon topped Bradley 2-0, and Maryland 10-2 (5). On Sunday, the Ducks beat Illinois State 2-0. Oregon (18-2) plays in the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii beginning on Wednesday, March 12. Oregon State’s games at the Long Beach State Invite were all postponed. OSU did get a win, 5-2, at Cal-State Fullerton on Thursday. The Beavers (6-11) are scheduled to play in the UCLA Tourney this weekend.

The Oregon State wrestling team won its third consecutive Pac-12 Championship, with three wrestlers claiming individual titles on Sunday evening. Team Standings: Oregon State: 155.5; Stanford: 134.0; Boise State: 128.5; Arizona State: 111.0; CSU Bakersfield: 109.5; Cal Poly: 74.5; The Beavers cruised to their third conference title, finishing over 20 points ahead of the runner-up, Stanford. While all 10 Beaver wrestlers tallied top-three finishes, Joey Delgado (141), Scott Sakaguchi (149), and RJ Pena (157) each collect individual Pac-12 titles. Joe Latham (174), Meeks (197), and Dhesi (HWT) second-place finishes, and Pat Rollins (125), Joey Palmer (133), Toney Chay (165), and Austin Morehead (184) end the day with third-place finishes.
