Coos Bay Public Library hosts “MARCH Toward Earth Day”, a series of documentaries on issues facing our planet on Wednesday evenings in March at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 15th – DISRUPTION – A fearless look at the devastating consequences of inaction on climate change – the terrifying science, shattered political process, industry special interests and civic stasis leading to this social, moral and ecological crossroads. Wednesday, March 22nd – ROOT CAUSE – Can humans change the way we interact with the environment and change our future to avert disaster, or are we bound by our innate nature to continue as a destructive geological force? Wednesday, March 29th – MORE THAN HONEY – Tackles the vexing issue of why bees are facing extinction. Exquisite macro-photography of bees in flight and in hives reveals a fascinating world in crisis.
