Unemployment Rates for Coos & Curry Counties, March 29

Coos County’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined in February to 5.2 percent from a revised 5.8 percent in January. The rate is 1.1 percentage points below the February 2016 rate (6.3%). Oregon’s seasonally adjusted February unemployment rate was 4.0 percent, a record low; the national rate was 4.7 percent.  Curry County’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined in February to 5.7 percent from a revised 6.3 percent in January. The rate is 1.4 percentage points below the February 2016 rate (7.1%).
