The Coos County Friends of Public Health’s 10th Annual Recognition Luncheon, on Tuesday, April 4, will recognize two organizations and 4 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to improve health in Coos County: -Elizabeth Spona, Connect! the Boardwalks; -Coos Bay City Council of 2016 and Mayor Crystal Shoji (for passage of smoke free ordinance); -Kids HOPE Center; -Gail McClave, M.D.; -Carla McKelvey, M.D.; and -Tara Johnson, Nancy Devereux Center. The event will be at the Black Market Gourmet, 495 Central, Coos Bay, 11:30 am – 1 pm, Tuesday, April 4th. Cost is $20 for lunch. Reservations are required: 541-751-2435.
