Quakes, April 7

A couple of earthquakes shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Thursday, April 6, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a2.8-magnitude quake and a 3.1-magnitude quake were recorded south to southwest of Ferndale, CA.
