Marshfield beat North Valley 12-0 in five innings in a non-league softball game at Merlin near Grants Pass in Southern Oregon Thursday. The Lady Pirates (6-3) open Far West League play next Tuesday at home to Siuslaw.
Prep bb
North Bend’s baseball team beat Cottage Grove 11-2, at CG, Thursday in a non-league. The Bulldogs (1-6) open Far West League play next Tuesday at So. Umpqua. Marshfield lost at North Valley, 6-3. The Pirates (1-4-1) also open FWL next Tuesday at Siuslaw.
