A magnitude 3.0-earthquake was recorded near Cape Mendocino in Northern California Friday where two fault lines begin that then run north parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located south to southeast of Ferndale, CA. A magnitude 3.5 quake was also recorded that same day east to southeast of Lakeview, Oregon in the Warner Mtn. Range. A 2.7-magnitude quake followed on Saturday west to southwest of Ferndale, CA, and the Warner Mtn. Range shook again east to southeast of Lakeview on Saturday as well. On Sunday, a 2.5-magnitude quake was recorded at Cape Mendocino, southwest of Ferndale, CA.
