Illegal Camping
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, May 2, 8:17 a.m., 2200 block Newmark St., “male transient camped out in front of my business.  He has been trespassed from property and should not be there,: 53-year old Leslie Handlon, transient, taken into custody on charges of Criminal Trespass, warned for Drinking in Public, and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Trespass Sign
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, May 2, 10:05 a.m., 1700 block McPherson St., “911, elderly female ripped No Trespassing sign off his fence and walked away.  Officers responded/located female and counseled her on touching other people’s property.”

Jacket Thief
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, May 2, 5:41 p.m., 1200 block Virginia Ave., “female attempted to steal my jacket.  Came in back door of Bowling Alley, grabbed it and ran.  We RP yelled she dropped it.  Last seen walking with male subject westbound on Virginia.  Officers responded/located suspect.” Thirty-nine year old Kasie R. Jenkins, Myrtle Pt., cited for Theft II.  “Subject will also be referred to DA for False Info to Officer and possibly Burglary II.

DUII
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, May 2, 7:51 p.m., 3300 block Broadway, “911 report of driving complaint.  Officers located vehicle, driver placed into custody,” 22-year old Frankie L. Hughes, North Bend, cited on charges of DUII (drugs), and Reckless Driving.

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, May 2, 11:39 p.m., 2051 Newmark Ave., “officer out with subject at location, possibly detainable/wanted,” 35-year old Robert L. Senn, Coos Bay, charged with Probation Violation.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  “Additional charges will follow.”  Vehicle impounded.
