Coos Bay Public Library will be offering an Introduction to Pixlr class. Pixlr is a free online photo editing platform.This class will be held on Friday, May 26th, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the library’s Internet computers (entrance at 9:15am). Class is designed for users who want edit or manipulate their electronic photos. Attendees will learn basic functions on the Pixlr platforms including how to open a new photo, get rid of red eye, make a picture black and white, and add text to their photos. Class will also cover the basics of how to use layers to manipulate their photos. Users will become familiar with many of the Pixlr tools and editing options. Attendees should be comfortable using a computer mouse and the Internet. It is strongly encouraged that people bring their own electronic photo, but it is not required. Seating is limited, so pre-registration is required. The sign-up sheet is available at the Reference Desk in the Library. There is no admission charged.
