On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, Deputies served a search warrant and arrested a Drain man following a mail theft investigation. Deputies arrested 30 year old Anthony Leon Vancil, who was found to be in possession of stolen mail and property. Vancil was lodged at the Douglas County Jail on the following charges: – Forgery I; – Negotiating a Bad Check; – Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card (2 Counts); – Theft II; – Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine; – Mail Theft (6 counts).
